Our hosted trips include an experienced trip host who travels with the group from start to finish. They handle logistics, facilitate group activities, assist with any issues, and ensure everyone has an amazing experience.
Our hosted group trips are specifically designed for adults aged 21 and older. This ensures our travelers share similar life stages and interests, creating more meaningful connections and a comfortable travel environment for everyone.
The Mann's Platinum Travel group trips are primarily adults-only and open to both men and women unless it specifically states a Ladies/Girls trip or Dudes/Gentlemen/Guys trips. We have had some remarkable experiences with adult travelers up to the age of 75.
Each trip varies, but typically includes accommodations, specified meals, transportation during the trip, excursions, and our trip host services. Flights are sometimes included or can be booked separately. We provide a detailed inclusions list for each trip.
Pricing is typically double or single occupancy. Double occupancy is two (2) people in each room with twin or double beds. The stated cost is per person in the room. Single occupancy is one person usually with one bed in the room. Each destination overview will provide what’s included in the trip and state what is not included. The Mann's Platinum Travel specializes in international destinations. A US passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates is required and, in most cases, two blank passport pages. Periodically, we may announce a trip to the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or other domestic locations in which a passport is not required with details specifically stated in the additional Information section. If you are not a US citizen, contact the consulate of the country visiting to determine entry requirements.
It is important to note some destinations require a visa for entry. It is the responsibility of the traveler to verify and obtain all necessary documentation needed for your trip.
Yes, you can reserve your slot on the trip. However, you should begin the passport application process immediately after booking. Name change/correction request made after initial booking are assessed a fee. Please note, an airline may require complete rebooking. Passport information is needed 70 to 90 days prior to departure.
Lastly, for trips which include minors, if both parents or legal guardians are not traveling, ensure you obtain the proper legal documents to leave the US as well as enter the
destination.
Our groups typically range from 8-30 travelers, depending on the destination and trip type. We keep groups intentionally smaller to ensure personalized attention and an intimate experience.
Absolutely! Many of our travelers come solo. Our hosted trips are perfect for solo travelers who want the security and camaraderie of group travel. We can often arrange roommate matching to avoid single supplements.
You will be informed as soon as possible, and we will share the updated single occupancy pricing.
Travel protection insurance, often referred to as travel insurance, is a type of insurance coverage designed to protect travelers from financial losses and unforeseen events that may occur before or during their trip such as trip delays, cancellations, lost luggage and more importantly, medical costs abroad.
Yes, all trips require travel insurance. If interested in a cancel for any reason plan (CFAR), travelers must purchase within the first 10 days of booking your spot. All other plans require purchase prior to making the final trip payment.
It’s for the client’s peace of mind knowing they are financially protected against unexpected travel-related events. It mitigates losses from trip cancellations, medical emergencies and other covered events. When traveling out of the country, it’s essential to understand what your primary health insurance will and will not cover. Most plans do not have coverage outside the US. Also, remember group trips are non-refundable due to contractual obligations.

Absolutely. We design trips for groups of 8 or more travelers. If you would like for a Mann's Platinum Travel team member to accompany the group, the dates cannot conflict with a Mann's Platinum Travel trip date. More information can be found under Custom Group Planning.
We typically work with groups of 8 or more travelers. The larger your group, the better rates and perks we can negotiate with suppliers. However, we can discuss options for smaller groups as well.
We recommend starting 12-18 months in advance for the best selection and pricing, especially for popular destinations during peak seasons. However, we can work with shorter timeframes depending on availability.
Yes! We handle everything from initial planning to final payments. We collect deposits, manage payments, coordinate with all suppliers, and serve as the single point of contact for your entire group.
Absolutely! Custom trips are designed around your group's interests, budget, and schedule. We'll work together to create the perfect itinerary that meets everyone's needs.
Deposits vary by trip and supplier requirements. We typically require an initial deposit to hold your spot, with final payment due 60-90 days before departure. We offer flexible payment plans to help you budget including financing options.
We accept credit and debit cards with the American Express, MasterCard, and Visa logos. In limited circumstances, we are able to accept Discover contingent upon the supplier's methods of payment. For group bookings, we can also accommodate check and PayPal payments.
Cancellation policies vary by trip and supplier. We always provide detailed cancellation terms before booking. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for protection against unexpected cancellations.
Contact us to see if we have another traveler seeking a roommate. If this is not available, you are responsible for locating another roommate or we will adjust your room occupancy to the single rate.
Every effort should be made to make payments by the arranged dates. If you have extenuating circumstance, please contact us at [email protected]. Late payments occurring 45 days beyond the due date without notification are cancelled
We do not offer refunds for group trips. The Mann's Platinum Travel contracts with suppliers to design these experiences. Many components require prepayment. For this reason, clients are required to purchase travel insurance to protect this investment or sign a waiver acknowledging the potential for financial loss. Additionally, each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before the reservation is secured.
